The Governor of the Bank of England , Mark Carney, who was a graduate student at St Peter’s, is coming to Oxford to give a St Peter’s lecture on Wednesday 21st October at 6pm. The lecture is in memory of Sir Alec Cairncross, a former Master here.
Due to the popularity of the event, instead of our normal venue (the Chapel), the lecture will take place in the Sheldonian Theatre.
The invitation is primarily for members of St Peter's College and entry will be by ticket only (which you will need to print and bring with you).
We expect the tickets to go very fast so advise you book yours as soon as you can. There will be no allocated seating. Doors open at 5.30pm and close at 5.55pm - as no late entry will be allowed (due to live streaming of the lecture).
